Unibuss AS has signed a contract for as many as 183 Urbino 18 electric buses which will be produced by Solaris. The zero-emission Urbino 18 electric buses will replace the older Solaris Urbino model that is used in the city traffic in Oslo. The new buses will be in operation in April 2023 and are 18 meters long.
732 Ventura-doors
All Urbino 18 busses will be fitted with Ventura doors: 1 IG-door at the front and 3 PS2-doors over the length of the bus. In total 732 Ventura doors will be installed! The production of the doors will start in the fall of this year.
